Manage your privacy choices
Extended Essay Dashboard is used by schools to manage Extended Essay records. Your school is normally the controller of school/student educational data, while Cross Sword Ltd operates the service as processor for that data.

Access or export your data
You can ask for access to, or an export of, personal data associated with your account. Where your school is the controller of educational records, we coordinate the request with the school as required.
Correct inaccurate information
You can ask for inaccurate personal information to be corrected. Some profile and project information can also be updated directly in the service according to your role.
Delete your account
Authenticated users can initiate account deletion directly from Settings. The sign-in account and service access are removed. School-controlled educational records are not silently destroyed; a tracked deletion request is left for the school to decide whether those records should be erased, exported or retained under its controller responsibilities.
Restriction or objection
Where applicable under data-protection law, you may ask for processing to be restricted or object to certain processing. The school normally decides requests relating to school-controlled educational data.
About account deletion
Account deletion is available inside the authenticated app under Settings → Danger Zone. It removes the authentication account and access to the service. Because an Extended Essay record is normally controlled by the student's school, deleting the sign-in account does not automatically override the school's lawful retention or deletion decision for educational records. A tracked controller-review request is created for those remaining records.
How to make a request
If you can sign in, use My Privacy in the application to submit a tracked request. You can also contact us and we will route school-controlled requests to the appropriate school where necessary.
